Four Verona residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 6 p.m Saturday on Farm Road 1130, five miles southeast of Monett.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Ford Taurus driven by Joshua A. Grose, 32, Verona, swerved to avoid a stranded vehicle in the roadway, traveled off the roadway, struck a ditch and overturned.
Grose and a passenger, Shea L.Grose, 23, Verona, were treated for moderate injuries at Cox Hospital of Monett. Two other passengers, Nevaeh A. Grose, 5, and Tyler W. Melvin, 15, both of Verona, were treated for minor injuries at Cox.
