A Crane man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 1:38 p.m. today on Farm Road 2012, five miles south of Aurora.
According to the Highway Patrol report, an Allis Chalmers tractor driven by Burl Baum, 69, Crane, started to roll backwards. Baum fell off the tractor and was run over.
The Barry County Coroner pronounced Baum dead at the scene.
The fatality was the fifth this month and the 51st this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
