According to the Highway Patrol report, Timothy J. Hemingway, 31, Willard, was clearing brush from the roadway when he was struck by a 1996 Ford F-150 driven by Arthur L. Shaffer, 53, Springfield.
Hemingway was taken to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, for treatment.
