A Reeds Spring man was killed in a two-vehicle accident 11:58 a.m. today on Route OO, one mile west of Kimberling City.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Brittany A. Haase, 25, Reeds Spring, driving a 2004 Honda Accord, lost control on a snow-covered roadway and slid into the path of a 2016 Dodge Ram 2500 driven by John A. Williams, 55, Reeds Spring.
A passenger in the Haase vehicle, James D. Haase, 30, Reeds Springs, was pronounced dead by Dr. Costella at Cox Branson at 1:29 p.m.
Haase was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
The fatality was the fourth this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
