The Central High School Wind Ensemble has been selected to perform at the Missouri Music Educators Association State Conference on Jan. 24.
The statewide performance is equivalent to winning a state championship in high school athletics.
To prepare for this achievement and performance, the public is invited to hear the band's MMEA concert program in Springfield. The concert is free to the public.
The ensemble will perform at Wehr Band Hall, Missouri State University, 625 S. Clay Ave., Springfield, 6 to 6:45 p.m. Monday, January 14.
