Central High School students take first in math competition

(From Springfield Public Schools)

Central High School sponsored a math competition held at Missouri State University on Jan. 11. Fourteen schools with 169 students participated.

Central High School earned first place with a state qualifying score of 233 points. Eighteen Central students qualified for state which will be held April 13 at the University of Missouri in Columbia.



Ninth graders:

Sprint Round: 1 hour to complete 30 math problems
