A Springfield trucker was injured in a one-vehicle accident 7:20 a.m. on MO 13, three miles south of Osceola.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2019 Freightliner driven by Asher W. Houser, 31, Springfield, ran off the right side of the roadway, struck a guardrail and a ditch before going down an embankment and coming to rest in a creek.
Houser was airlifted to Cox Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.
