Shots fired at Greene County deputy's car while parked at his home

(From the Greene County Sheriff's Office)

On July 8, 2018, around 2:00 AM one of our patrol deputies had just ended tour. He parked his fully-marked, patrol car in his driveway and went inside his residence. A short time later he heard gunfire outside. The deputy went outside and found his patrol car had been struck three times. The deputy is safe, and there was no damage located to his residence, personal vehicles, or any other vehicle/structure.

We are asking for your assistance. If you live in the area of National and McClernon and heard or saw anything around 2:00 AM last night, please send us a private message. Also, if you have cameras on your house and think you might have caught a vehicle or person walking please send us a private message.
