MoDOT, Southwest District – The Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission, at its meeting on Thursday, Jan 4 in Jefferson City, awarded projects to construction companies to make surface improvements to state highways and rehabilitate several bridges during 2018, the Missouri Department of Transportation said.
Here are the details:
Christian County Route 125: Bridge replacement over Swan Creek near Garrison
Awarded to Hartman and Company, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $1,541,795.
Greene County Various Routes: Surface Improvements
Awarded to Blevins Asphalt Construction Company, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $1,539,094.
Greene County Various Locations on I-44: Bridge Repairs
Awarded to Branco Enterprises, Inc. of Springfield, for a low bid amount of $594,300.
St Clair / Henry Counties: Route 13: Bridge Rehabilitations over Deepwater Creek (SBL), over Menson Creek (SBL), and over Otter Creek (NBL).
Awarded to Capital Paving & Construction, LLC of Columbia for a low bid amount of $857,358.
Webster County: Route B: Bridge rehabilitation over James River south of Marshfield Route KK: Bridge rehabilitation over James River south of Marshfield
Awarded to Widel, Inc. of Blackwater, for a low bid amount of $912,808.
Construction on the projects will start in the Spring and will be completed by the end of 2018. More information on the projects will be announced prior to the projects’ start dates.
