A Nixa teenager was injured in a two-vehicle accident 11:55 p.m. Monday on U. S. 160 at Farm Road 157, one mile south of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2014 Ford Escape driven by an unknown driver turned into the path of a 2006 Nissan Xterra driven by Stephanie M. Norton, 16, Nixa. The driver of the Escape abandoned the vehicle and fled the scene.
Norton was treated for minor injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
