(From the Springfield Police Department)On Tuesday morning, officers responded to the report of a sexual assault in the 2200 block of N. Pickwick. The victim ran out of the house and called 911.
Officers arrived and searched the residence for Shane Nason, 48. After negotiating with Nason, a K9 engaged with Nason and he was taken into custody.
Nason was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for domestic assault, sexual assault and resisting arrest.
