Springfield Police arrest six over weekend

It was a busy weekend. Officers made six arrests in six different incidents, many involving firearms and assault.
 
Yesterday afternoon, officers responded to the 2100 block of N. Boonville to the report of a disturbance and shots fired. Officers located evidence of shots fired. During the investigation, officers received information on the suspect vehicle.





 
Officers stopped the vehicle and arrested Justin Parchman, 23, for unlawful use of a weapon and two outstanding warrants. Parchman was booked into the Greene County Jail. No one was injured.

In the early hours of Monday morning, officers attempted to stop a vehicle near Grant and Division. The vehicle fled but was not pursued. Officers later located the vehicle after it left the roadway and crashed in the 1000 block of E. Division.
 
Seneca Williams, 46, was on foot near a residence and arrested. Williams, a felon, was in possession of a firearm. Williams was booked into the Greene County Jail for resisting arrest and unlawful possession of a firearm.

Officers responded to a domestic assault in the early hours of Sunday morning in the 1200 block of E. Chestnut Expwy. The victim was assaulted and had a stab wound to an extremity.
Robert Wilson, 71, was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for domestic assault.

On Saturday night, officers responded to a domestic assault in the 600 block of S. Missouri. The victim was assaulted by Keith Washington, 57, who also threatened the victim with a firearm. Washington was located by officers with a loaded firearm.







 
Washington was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for assault, domestic assault, and unlawful use of a weapon.

Officers responded to a domestic disturbance on Saturday afternoon in the 1400 block of E. Lindberg. Shots were fired during a disturbance and Forest Ernst, 25, fled on a motorcycle. Officers located Ernst in the 1500 block of E. Cherokee. After a brief standoff with officers where less lethal rounds were used, Ernst was taken into custody.

Ernst was booked into the Greene County Jail for assault, domestic assault, and unlawful use of a weapon. No one was injured.

In the early hours of Saturday morning, officers responded to an assault in the 1200 block of S. Lone Pine. The victim had a gunshot wound to an extremity by a pellet gun and was transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
 
Wesley Toyebo, 35, was arrested and booked into the Greene County Jail for assault and domestic assault.
