An Aurora man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 10:49 a.m. Sunday on MO 39 five miles south of Mount Vernon.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2016 Ford Fusion driven by Joe A. Lara, 43, Aurora, drove off the right side of the roadway, struck a driveway, went airborne and overturned.
Lara was treated for serious injuries at Mercy Springfield.
