A Byrnes Mill man drowned at Point One in Table Rock Lake 6 p.m. Wednesday.
According to the Highway Patrol report, Bradley D. Bruce, 44, entered the water to help his children, went under water and did not resurface.
Stone County Coroner Jerry Jenkins pronounced Bruce dead 6:23 p.m. Friday.
The drowning was the 16th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
