A Bolivar man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 3:10 a.m. today on Highway D, a half-mile north of Bolivar.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2005 Mazda 3 driven by Zachary T. Grenier, 19, Bolivar, ran off the roadway and struck a tree.
Polk County Coroner Scott Pursselley pronounced Grenier dead at the scene at 3:20 a.m.
The fatality was the 82nd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
