A Miller man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 1:45 a.m. today on Highway TT, 2.5 miles south of Halltown.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Dodge truck driven by Josey R. Smotherman, 20, Miller, ran off the roadway and overturned, ejecting the driver. Smotherman was pronounced dead at the scene at 2:44 a.m. by Coroner Lakin.
The fatality was the 103rd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
