A Branson man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 10:35 a.m. Saturday on U. S. 60, 2.5 miles west of Monett.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 GMC Envoy driven by Ronnie E. Nelson, 50, Branson, traveled off the right side of the road and overturned, ejecting the driver.
Nelson was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner Charlie McManus at 11:45 a.m.
The fatality was the 103rd this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
