Springfield, Republic residents suffer serious injuries as car goes airborne, lands on top

Two Springfield residents were injured in a one-vehicle accident 1:13 a.m. today on Highway N two and a half miles north of Republic.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Dodge Avenger driven by Alan R. Livingston, 29, Springfield, ran off the roadway, struck an embankment, went airborne and overturned on its top.

Livingston and a passenger, Alexis R. Zaragova, 23, Republic, were treated for serious injuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
