Pierce City man suffers serious injuries in crash

 A Pierce City man was injured in a one-vehicle accident 3:04 p.m. Friday on Route PP three miles east of Pierce City.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2002 Ford F250 driven by Trevor W. Davis, 30, Pierce City, traveled off the right side of the roadway, returned to the roadway, crossed the center line and traveled off the left side of the roadway.

Davis was treated for serious injuries at Freeman West Hospital, Joplin.
