A Golden man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 3:35 p.m. on MO 86, one mile west of Golden.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a Dodge Ram 1500 driven by Dale C. Shepard, 65, Golden, ran off the roadway and struck several trees.
Shepard was pronounced dead at the scene by Barry County Assistant Coroner Gage Smith at 5:18 p.m.
