Springfield teen injured in crash on 266

A Springfield teen was injured in a two-vehicle crash 10:45 a.m. Sunday on MO 266, three miles west of Springfield.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1982 Chrysler LeBaron driven by Jesse T. Shipley, 18, Springfield, turned into the path of a 1995 Chevrolet pickup driven by Timothy C. Lakey, 25, Bois D'Arc. The Lakey vehicle struck the Shipley vehicle broadside.

Shipley was treated for serious njuries at Cox South Hospital, Springfield.
