A Marshfield woman was arrested on a felony charge of leaving the scene of an accident after allegedly hitting and killing a pedestrian 3:30 a.m. Tuesday on Evergreen Road, four miles east of Strafford.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2003 Toyota Camry driven by Morgan M. Wright, 26, Marshfield, struck Traten J. Sherry, 46, Omaha, Nebraska, who was standing in the roadway.
Webster County Coroner Michael Taylor pronounced Sherry dead at the scene at 4:50 a.m.
