A Springfield man and a Clever woman were injured in a two-vehicle accident 7:35 a.m. today on U. S. 160, a half mile north of Nixa.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2011 Hyundai driven by Jesse O. Carter, 26, Springfield, was stopped in traffic when it was struck from behind by a 1998 GMC pickup driven by Bobby R. Mace, 33, Clever.
Carter and a passenger in his vehicle, Megan N. Carter, 23, Clever, were treated for minor injuries, with J. Carter treated at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, and M. Carter treated at Mercy Hospital, Springfield.
