Four injured, two airlifted to Mercy after crash on 76, baby injured

Four people were injured in a one-vehicle accident 5:35 a.m. today on MO 76 at Bradleyville.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2009 Hyundai Accent driven by Shane C. Weidman, 24, Springfield, traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck a tree and an embankment.

Two passengers, Loressa E. Bailey, 23, Kirbyville, and Ronny L. Baker, 44, Forsyth were airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

Weidman was treated for moderate injuries and another passenger, Sawyer Bailey, 0, Kirbyville, for minor injuries at Mercy.
