Three injured, two seriously, in house fire on 1900 block of North Burton Avenue

Springfield firefighters responded to reports of a house fire in the 1900 block of North Burton Avenue this morning.

Upon arrival, four victims were located and were rescued from the home. Three have been transported to a local hospital: one in good condition and two with serious injuries. 

Fire companies remain on the scene, and the cause of the fire is under investigation. There are no reports of injuries to firefighters. 

The Springfield Fire Department will provide updates as available, however this is an ongoing investigation.
