A Republic man was killed in a one-vehicle accident 1:20 p.m. Sunday on MO 14 two miles north of Marionville.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2012 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Christopher V. Bell, 37, Republic, ran off the roadway, struck a sign and overturned.
Bell was pronounced dead by Dr. McCroskey at Cox South Hospital, Springfield, at 2:07 p.m.
The fatality was the 45th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
