Fair Play man killed in crash on 13 near Springfield

A Fair Play man was killed in a one-vehicle crash 2 a.m. today on MO 13, six miles north of Springfield.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1998 Dodge Ram driven by Casey M. Dennis, 21, Fair Play, ran off the roadway, overturned and ejected Dennis, who was not wearing a seat belt.







Dennis was pronounced dead at the scene by Dr. Jones at 2:49 a.m.

The fatality was the 18th this year for Highway Patrol Troop D.
