Republic man lifeflighted to Mercy, Shell Knob woman also injured in head-on collision near Aurora

Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash 11:22 a.m. today on MO 39, one mile south of Aurora.

According to the Highway Patrol report, a 2018 Jeep Wrangler driven by Linda N. Arnold, 68, Shell Knob, crossed the center line and struck a 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe driven by Steven M. Earls, 35, Republic head on.







Earls was airlifted to Mercy Hospital, Springfield, with serious injuries.

Arnold was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy.
