...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH FRIDAY MORNING...

The Flash Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of southeast Kansas and Missouri, including the
  following areas, in southeast Kansas, Bourbon, Cherokee, and
  Crawford. In Missouri, Barry, Barton, Cedar, Christian, Dade,
  Dallas, Douglas, Greene, Hickory, Jasper, Laclede, Lawrence,
  McDonald, Newton, Ozark, Polk, St. Clair, Stone, Taney,
  Vernon, Webster, and Wright.

* Through Friday morning

* Multiple rounds of thunderstorms will impact southeast Kansas
  and southwestern Missouri through tonight. Most locations will
  receive anywhere from 1 to 4 inches. However, localized amounts
  of up to 6 inches will be possible. The area from southeast
  Kansas into the Interstate 49 corridor of southwest Missouri
  will see the highest rainfall amounts.

* Flooding of creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be
  possible.

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

You should monitor later forecasts and be prepared to take action
should Flash Flood Warnings be issued.
