Mt. Vernon Street west of Kansas Expressway will close for three months starting at 6 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 for construction to replace the Mt. Vernon Street bridge over Jordan Creek.
The Mt. Vernon Bridge Replacement Project will be partially funded through the federal On-System Bridge Program, with the remaining portion funded through reimbursement funds from the Missouri Department of Transportation received from a previous project.
