Officers of the Springfield Police Department will conduct a saturation patrol for impaired drivers this Saturday evening, May 4th.
Extra officers, funded by a grant from the Missouri Department of Transportation, will proactively seek out drivers who make the decision to get behind the wheel while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or both.
