A Springfield man was charged with driving while intoxicated following a two-vehicle collision 9:45 p.m. Monday on U. S. 160, five miles south of Springfield.
According to the Highway Patrol report, a 1992 Chevrolet S-10 driven by Bryan A. Gavist, 54, Springfield, failed to yield to a 2007 Pontiac G6 driven by Tori Rae Barnes, 19, Nixa.
Gavist was treated for moderate injuries at Mercy Hospital, Springfield,
